Mulching & bed care

Beds that make the whole property look finished

Fresh mulch, sharp edges and healthy beds. It’s the fastest, highest-impact thing you can do to make a property look cared for.

The service

What you get with Campbell’s

Nothing changes how a house looks faster than fresh mulch and a crisp bed edge. It is the single best return on a landscaping dollar, and it is why it is one of our most requested jobs.

Mulch isn’t just cosmetic either. It holds moisture at the roots, moderates soil temperature and smothers the weeds that would otherwise take the bed over.

We clean the beds out first, cut a defined edge, then lay mulch at the right depth. Done properly it looks sharp for a full season.

Everything that goes into the job

  • Bed cleanout removing weeds, debris and last season’s buildup

★★★★★

“Campbell’s Lawn Care did a refresh and installed new mulch in all our flower beds. Ty and his team did a very professional job and both my wife and I were amazed at the transformation.”

Mulching & bed care FAQs

How often should mulch be refreshed?

Most beds want a refresh once a year to keep color and depth. Some properties do a lighter top-up rather than a full install. We will tell you which yours needs.

What mulch colors can I get?

Any color you like. Black, brown and red are the ones we install most often, plus natural undyed hardwood if you would rather skip the dye altogether. Black is the most popular choice around here because it makes greenery stand out and holds its look longest as it fades. If you are not sure, tell us the color of your house and we will tell you what tends to sit well against it.

Will mulch stop weeds completely?

It dramatically reduces them by blocking light to weed seed, but nothing is absolute. Combined with a proper cleanout first, most customers see very few weeds through the season.
